Marketing and E-commerce Manager

Job Purpose:

 As the Marketing and E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our products and enhance our online presence. They will also oversee our e-commerce platform and drive online sales through targeted campaigns and initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Create comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the shop's goals, considering both online and offline channels.
  • Oversee the shop's online presence, including the website, social media profiles, and online marketplaces. Ensure consistent branding and engaging content to attract customers and drive online sales.
  • Implement local SEO strategies to ensure the shop's website and listings rank well in search engine results for relevant keywords in the areas surrounding the two physical locations.
  • Develop engaging content such as blog posts, videos, and social media posts that showcase the shop's products, expertise, and community involvement in biking and skiing activities.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to promote new products, sales, events, and special offers to the shop's customer base.
  • Plan and coordinate promotional events, sales, and product launches both online and at physical locations to attract customers and drive foot traffic.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships with local biking and skiing events, organizations, and influencers to increase brand visibility and reach.
  • Implement and manage a CRM system to track customer interactions, preferences, and purchase history. Use this data to personalize marketing efforts and improve customer retention.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools to measure key metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI). Use insights gained to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to initiatives that deliver the highest ROI and align with the shop's objectives.
  • Engage with the local biking and skiing communities through events, sponsorships, and partnerships to foster a strong sense of community and brand loyalty.
  • Monitor customer feedback and online reviews, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing any concerns to maintain a positive reputation and improve customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
  • At least two years' experience as a marketing manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.

 

 

 

Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements:

 

 

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
